Abstract
Through the film Habemus Papam (Nanni Moretti, 2011), the following essay attempts to interrogate the contemporary discourses and their logical ways to operate in the current social order; considering the sexuation tables elaborated by Jacques Lacan, and the interpretation done by Jacques-Alain Miller as the conceptual core of the analysis.
In order to do it, this essay presents a lecture of the film capturing the distinctive aspects of the current time: the inexistence of the Other. It propose interpret this inexistence of the Other, as a possible feminization of the world, which at the same time corresponds to a singular ethics, opposed to the particular ethics.
