Abstract
This paper explores the place of the series today, its particular form of storytelling. From the postulates of Wajcman, who suggested the impossibility of a theory of art in general, since no one could speak of works of art, we decided to rely on a particular series. Thus we come to Twin Peaks, in the 90 series presented by Mark Frost and David Lynch. During the time that lasted his life on TV was not recognized at the spectators, but now takes a special prominence, being one of the first series conducted under the cinematic narrative style, which is why today has been established as a cult series. The question that went through all the work is whether this serie suture the meaning or if it respects the void and makes an operative site, and instead there is the ethical question about the works of art.
